STORIES FROM THE FRINGE

by Rabbi Lynne A. Kern and Ronda Spinak
A staged reading co-presented by the Gordon Center for Performing Arts with the Strand Theater
Developed and originally performed at Los Angeles Jewish Women's Theatre

The voices of 18 women rabbis at different stages of life and career share a passion for their work, their deep commitment to Judaism, and their love of a good pair of shoes! An evening of stories culled from the transcripts of "On The Fringe," a documentary film about Los Angeles female rabbis, this theatre piece shares the struggles, joys, accomplishments and losses of these women. These are their stories and the stories of all women trailblazers and innovators who follow the calling to embrace their lives' work. Three actresses breathe life into their memories.
