Tonight, Monday, July 17th, is the reading of the revised script of King of the Seventh Grade as part of the baltimore playwrights festival.

Playwright Rich Espey has taken the results of the previous reading, including audience reaction and talkback, to refine his play. Be part of the creative process and participate in the discussion afterwards.

Jay is a teacher being forcibly retired, and he's invited every former student to one final, inspirational class. But only Kenya shows up, and she is more interested in rectifying the past than being inspired. Secrets are revealed, old wrongs are righted, and a surprise snowfall helps soothe two battered souls.

The production is at 7 pm by Rapid Lemon Productions at The Strand Theatre, 5426 Harford Road in Hamilton. Come on out and support local playwrights and performers this summer! Visit www.baltplayfest.org for more information.
