Red Branch Theatre Company Presents TALES OF A FOURTH GRADE NOTHING, 4/29-5/7

Red Branch Theatre Company, the professional theatre company in residence at Drama Learning Center, is pleased to announce their upcoming show, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, running April 29 - May 7. Based on Judy Blume's book, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, the story promises to be a delight for audiences of all ages.

In the play we meet nine-year-old Peter Hatcher, whose life would be sweet if it weren't for Fudge, his toddler terror of a brother. Fudge seems to get away with everything, whether he's throwing a tantrum at the shoe store, acting like a bird on the jungle gym and knocking out his two front teeth, or scribbling all over Peter's homework! It's enough to make him feel like a fourth grade nothing! When Peter's beloved pet turtle disappears, he just knows that Fudge is behind it. This is the last straw -- how can he get his parents to pay attention to him for a change?

Several special events will occur in conjunction with Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, including special Parents' Night Out PJ Party performances on Friday, May 6. There will also be a special post-show presentation featuring a turtle expert and live turtles! The date will be announced soon.

Parents may drop off their kids from 7-11 pm. This is a great opportunity for parents to enjoy their own night out, while the Drama Learning Center staff entertains children with crafts and games, after they have watched the show.
