Photo Flash: First Look at Red Branch Theatre Company's A YEAR WITH FROG & TOAD

Red Branch Theatre Company (RBTC) will stage its final production of the 2014 season entitled On Love & Loss with the family-friendly A Year With Frog & Toad. A Year With Frog and Toad magically brings the treasured characters created by Arnold Lobel in the "Frog and Toad" book series to life. Best friends Frog and Toad hop through four seasons filled with fun while rejoicing in their differences and reveling in their friendship. The jazzy, upbeat score by Robert Reale is designed to have the entire family tapping their toes with Frog and Toad. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

Since A Year With Frog and Toad is based on the series of easy-reader children's books, Red Branch has partnered with Howard County Public Libraries and Greenberries to bring the beloved stories to a new audience. Cast members from Red Branch's Frog and Toad will read stories in costume from Arnold Lobel's iconic books at Howard County Library Branches and the local eco-chic consignment store over the next two months. A Year With Frog and Toad runs at Red Branch Theatre Company from December 12-20, and will include several events for all ages in conjunction with the run.

A Year With Frog & Toad features: Frog - Cory Jones; Toad - Gavin Shown; Man - James Carpenter; Woman 1 - Erin Branigan; and Woman 2 - Caroline Griswold. Directed by Jenny Male, with music direction by Dustin Merrell and stage management by Dana Fleischer, 'Frog & Toad''s creative team also includes set design by Heidi Castle, properties design by Jerusha Burnett and costume design by Camille Petrillo.
