The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company is one of the fastest growing classics theater in the United States. The tremendous support and energy it has received has come as a result of CSC's desire to create a new way to deliver classical theater- ways that encourages conversations between audience and artists, one that connects the organization to its community and finds unique ways to combine the traditional and the new when presenting exciting and energetic productions. Built on a model that encourages collaboration and long-term relationships with artists, CSC has built the foundation for a healthy, vibrant organization that is growing into a regional center of energy and excellence. Our ambition is to "change the way people thing about Shakespeare," and we're thrilled to have so many of you along on our journey to do just that.
