Glass Mind Theatre Company is proud to open the 2010-2011 season this September with Please Flag With Care. This season focuses on the theme of what it means to connect in this day and age. Please Flag With Care features two premiere one-acts and found material to explore the active imagination of the Craigslist universe.

David J. Loehr's In the Cold Light follows the interactions of four young Baltimoreans through a "quadrangle" of love, friendship, and missed connections. A chorus of fireflies navigates the scene as the characters attempt to shine their light for love.

Newer Stranger, by Rebecca J. Wyrick, takes us to the basement of a reclusive artist and his first encounter with a potential new model that has responded to his ad on Craigslist. Soon after their meeting, the two realize that they have seriously misunderstood each other, and the Craigslist ad that brought them together.

Spam Control brings Craigslist entries into real world scenarios that break up, shake up, and subdue the action of the piece.

Director Alexander Scally says, "By exploring social networking through friendship, love, and desire, Please Flag With Care conceptualizes the communication breakdown of the 21st century."

All Please Flag with Care performances will take place September 17-26 (Fri-Sat 8pm/Sun 7pm) at Load of Fun Theatre (LOF/T), 120 W. North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201. Tickets are $10.
