A CHRISTMAS CAROL Gets A Baltimore Twist Image

Chesapeake Shakespeare's holiday tradition sets the Victorian tale in familiar Baltimore neighborhoods including Fells Point and Mount Vernon, and this winter, opens with songs of the season performed by fine local choirs.

Ebenezer Scrooge and Bob Cratchit toil downtown in 1843 Baltimore in Chesapeake Shakespeare Company's delightfully local and original adaptation of A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens' classic holiday ghost story, December 4 through December 23, 2017.

Matinee and evening performances will open with songs of the season, presented by fine professional and community choirs including Bach in Baltimore, Baltimore Musicales, Larksong, Deer Park Magnet Middle School Chorus, our cast, and more. Doors open 45 minutes before showtime; arrive early to enjoy carols and winter songs (included in the ticket price).

Baltimore City First Responders' Night, Thursday, Dec. 7, preview performance, doors open 7:15pm.
