Tessa Nelson is a Denver-based theatre critic and dramaturg. She holds a master’s degree in dramaturgy from the ART/MXAT at Harvard University and is currently pursuing an MPH at Johns Hopkins University, where she focuses on adolescent health. Her theatrical work has included criticism, production dramaturgy and new-play development, with particular interests in new work, musical theatre and Shakespeare. She is also interested in the intersections between arts and public health.
