I was a bit sad ahead of rehearsal because it was such a beautiful day outside and I was going to be stuck inside all day, but it felt just as beautiful to be inside the theatre with my friends creating theatre.
I want to take the time to acknowledge everyone who has been involved in making pandemic theatre possible. It is no easy feat, and you are appreciated so much more than you know.
Whenever a camera is in front of me taking pictures of my performance, I can’t help but linger on a pose that I just KNOW will make an amazing photo. Even during rehearsals when we are blocking a scene, I occasionally think to myself “this would make for a great picture.”
You would have been hard-pressed to not see some sort of article over this past week about it being a year since the world shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Life as we know it has changed drastically over the past year. Many of these have been disappointing changes, but it is also important to see the light in the positive changes.
3. You don’t need to bring five swimsuits to college - I wish I was lying, but I actually brought five different swimsuits to college. Might I add that I go to school in Boston. Yes, the same Boston that has had snow on the ground for the past 3 weeks.
