I recently moved back into my dorm at William Peace University, and even though our sister schools are reverting back to online only after the semester started, we are still blessed with the opportunity to learn on campus and in person.
My favorite aspect of digital theatre that Ia??ve been seeing is the switch from casual to in-character that most shows are made for you NOT to see.

It was incredibly educational, moving, and I am not only grateful for the opportunity but I'm eager to do it again (and again and again!)
I gathered 32 quizzes related to theatre, each of them tested to see not only are they fun but relatively unique to each other.
I've never played Ursula or even had the opportunity to audition for her, but when I was in middle and high school doing theatre, I dreaded the mere possibility that I would ever have to play her.
Have you ever noticed how many Broadway podcasts share the format of one person with musical expertise teaching one person with barely any interest in theatre? Musicals with Cheese, Broadway Baby, MusicalSplaining, all of which are amazing (and I love them dearly) and all of them have this format!
This weekend was originally supposed to be our opening night for our production of Everscape, but instead I'm sitting at home for the. . . what, eighth day in quarantine? But I'm not going to spend a lot of time talking about what I'm missing - everyone is feeling the same thing right now, missing out on showcases or productions, so I'm not going to keep telling the same story for long.
Unfortunately, when our campus closed and we were sent home, our play was put on the backburner. It hasn't been officially closed and there's hope for it being pushed for the next semester, but it is tremendously disappointing, nonetheless.

I started classes with only two weeks before my first rehearsal and already it can feel overwhelming - even if things fall into place perfectly and things aren't being forgotten or rescheduled. When rehearsals start, I'm going to have days where I'm in class from 9:00 to ending rehearsals at 11 pm, with few breaks for naps or food. All that on top of school work? There are a few things that can help you go from being overwhelmed to busy but handling it.
