Matthew-Lee was named a semi-finalist for the 2006 Princess Grace Award in playwriting for his play Jesus;Kidnapped. His socio-political satire, Happy Sunshine Kung Fu Flower, is proudly sponsored by The Onion, and has been developed with Ars Nova; it will be going into production this spring in NYC in an alley somewhere and probably on your television after that. He has had readings with MCC, Ars Nova, and Temporary Theatre Co. As an actor, he has appeared regionally, in NYC, and on T.V. He is a cum laude graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
