According to Entertainment Weekly, Starz and Sony Pictures Television announced on Wednesday that the series has been renewed for a fifth and sixth season at the network, ensuring the story of Claire and Jamie will continue for at least a few more years. The fourth season is currently filming and will premiere on Starz in November 2018, Starz also announced.

Link TV, a national independent public satellite television network, announced today new episodes of its series THE CHALLENGERS, a series of dynamic speeches and interviews by uncommon people whose voices are challenging perspectives and offering unique insights into global issues. The series is a result of a partnership with San Francisco-based The Commonwealth Club of California. Notable on-air guests making their Link TV network premieres in these episodes of THE CHALLENGERS include author Amy Chua, Harvard lecturer Yascha Mounk, Berkeley professor Robert Reich and political commentator Sally Kohn. YouTube announced that it has given a pilot production commitment to THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN from STXtv, based on the 2016 critically acclaimed film of the same name from Robert Simonds' STX Entertainment. Annabel Oakes (Transparent, Atypical) has been tapped to write the witty coming of age series, which will be executive produced by Kelly Fremon Craig who helmed the original feature film. As the co-owner and in-house arranger of Spacebomb Records, Trey Pollard (Natalie Prass, Foxygen, Helado Negro, Matthew E. White, S-Town podcast) has had an illustrious career of music creation, but he is now excited to announce his proper debut as a contemporary chamber composer. The first music from his forthcoming album Antiphone will debut in a live stream of the recording session at 1:30pm ET on Monday, May 14 from Montrose Recording in Richmond, VA. Not even Trey has heard the music yet -- this will be the first time a group of musicians has performed it, and the stream will allow the listener to hear the music as it's rehearsed, perfected and recorded. The recording is being produced by Matthew E. White and will be released later in the year by Spacebomb Records. More details on Antiphone are forthcoming.

Since 2010, The Man From RavCon (aka, Mike Brown), has been creating adventurous, atmospheric instrumental music featuring Mellotron enriched arrangements accentuated by piano and organ, interweaving synths, bass, dynamic percussion, and melodic guitar. Blending influences of 70's classic FM album rock (Stones, Kraftwerk, Steely Dan, Supertramp) with a melodic prog flavor, The Man From RavCon's ninth release, “Another World,” may be considered a somewhat more accessible work than his most recent offerings, but is no less adventurous in scope. With contributions from special guests, guitarist Larry Smith, and flutist Jeff Eacho, “Another World” features a more lighthearted, breezy vibe making it the perfect soundtrack for Summer 2018 and beyond.

Bad times make great art, so this year's Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF) should be amazing! And so BFF announces today the film lineup for its 21st edition: THRESHOLD. Like an aircraft entering the threshold on runway “21,” BFF takes off on Friday, June 1st at returning venue: Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. Over the course of the 10-day festival, BFF proudly presents film programs at Wythe Hotel, nearby returning venue Windmill Studios in Greenpoint, and five more screening venues throughout Brooklyn.
