Adult Swim has ordered a staggering 70 new episodes of the popular animated series as part of a new long-term deal with the show's creators Dan Harmonand Justin Roiland. That is more episodes than Rick and Morty's first three seasons combined (31 episodes).

YouTube announced that it has ordered a second season of the wildly-popular and critically-acclaimed hit series COBRA KAI from Sony Pictures Television and Overbrook Entertainment. Since its debut on May 4, the first episode of COBRA KAI has generated over 20 million views. Series stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are set to return for a second season. The 10-episode, half-hour series will begin production this fall and debut on YouTube Red in 2019.

Today, Freeform announced a pilot order for “Everything's Gonna Be Okay,” a half-hour comedy from “Please Like Me” creator, writer and comedian Josh Thomas. The pilot introduces Nicholas, a typical 25-year-old still living at home with his single dad and two teenage half-sisters, who is not particularly helpful in raising his siblings, one of which has autism. However, when their dad becomes terminally ill, the girls have to cope with not only a devastating loss but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to hold it all together.
Deadline has reported that Paramount Pictures and Amblin will co-finance Bernstein, a film about iconic composer Leonard Bernstein that Bradley Cooper will star in and direct. Cooper will also write the script with Josh Singer, who shared the Best Original Screenplay Oscar with Tom McCarthy for Spotlight. Cooper is producing with Fred Berner, Amy Durning, Kristie Macosko Krieger, Steven Spielbergand Martin Scorsese.
