The Presets are officially back, today releasing their highly anticipated new album HI VIZ. With cameos from Alison Wonderland and Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, HI VIZ is one of the most exciting electronic releases for the year. The album is seamlessly mixed so it sounds like a 53 minute DJ set. Brooklyn's favorite FREE Film and Concert Series will return this summer to McCarren Park for its 13th consecutive year! Taking place every Wednesday in July and August, the weekly event will screen eight films in the park and will offer food, beverage and live music. Screenings kick off Wednesday, July 11th. 

 The Recording Academy announced today that President/CEO Neil Portnow will begin preparing for a leadership transition after choosing not to seek an extension on his current contract, which expires in July 2019. Portnow shared his plans at the Recording Academy's semi-annual Board of Trustees meeting last week.
