Sonnet Repertory Theatre celebrates a decade of producing classic theatre for the modern planet with a world-premiere adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Michael Raver, directed by Quin Gordon. The Picture of Dorian Gray will begin performances on Thursday, August 9, with an official opening slated for Friday, August 10, at The Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

Shakespeare Theatre Company Artistic Director Michael Kahn announced a revision to the 2012-2013 Season, which will now include Eugene O'Neill's Hughie. This play will replace the previously announced production of George Bernard Shaw's Man and Superman. Tony Award winnerDoug Hughes (STC's The Little Foxes, Broadway's Doubt) will direct Hughie at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street NW) from January 31 - March 17, 2013.

Rated M for Mature, which will make its world premiere this summer at the Cherry Lane Theatre as part of the New York International Fringe Festival, is inspired by real events and will feature direction from Paul Dobie (currently the Assistant Director of Wicked who also served as AD on the Broadway productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Glengarry Glen Ross and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me). The production will run from Wed. 8/22 thru Sun. 8/26 and is produced by Ryan Duncan (the original casts of Shrek and Altar Boyz).
