Thanks to popular demand Lucy Peacock's Late Night with Lucy cabaret series is moving from her cozy "living room" at the Annex performance space to a bigger house at the Studio Theatre for its last two dates in August.

Broadway In Detroit and producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that tickets for the Detroit return engagement of MARY POPPINS, at the Fisher Theatre October 23-28, will go on sale to the public on Sunday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at 1-800-982-2787, and online at www.ticketmaster.com or www.broadwayindetroit.com. On Monday, July 30, tickets will also be available starting at 10 a.m. at the Fisher Theatre box office.

Blue Man Group unveils its newest production described as 'complete with electrifying music, sensational technology, a captivating nightly procession and its signature interactive, audience experiences.' The show opens inside Monte Carlo Resort and Casino Wednesday, Oct. 10.

The Brown Paper Box Co. will bring to Chicago a one-of-a-kind modern interpretation of Stephen Schwartz and John Michael Tebelak's GODSPELL. Transport Group Theatre Company, the winner of both a Special Drama Desk Award and Obie Award, has announced that that their award-winning 2010 production of See Rock City & Other Destinations will receive an original cast recording produced by Yellow Sound Label. The Drama Desk and Richard Rodgers Award-winning musical has music by Brad Alexander and book and lyrics by Adam Mathias. The show was directed by Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III.

Giordano Dance Chicago and Point Park University will present Jazz Dance World Festival, featuring four evenings of dance August 1 - 4 at the Byham Theatre in the Cultural District. A variety of companies and styles from around the world will grace the Byham stage, creating a completely unique program each night. Jazz Dance World Festival is sponsored by Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher, with additional support as an Event Partner from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company will become a conservatory partnerof the William E. Doar Jr. Public Charter School (WEDJ PCS) for the Performing Arts. Starting this fall, STC teaching artists will introduce students in kindergarten through eighth grade to theatre arts and the works of William Shakespeare. WEDJ PCS students will receive instruction in the art of reading, understanding and performing classical plays during this year-long partnership.

The Summer Festival of Sacred Music at St. Bart's continues on Sunday, August 5 at 11 am with a service featuring Josquin's Missa Pange Lingua. Josquin des Prez (c. 1450-1521) is regarded to be the central figure in the Franco-Flemish school and the first master of the high Renaissance style of polyphonic vocal composition.
