Englert Theatre to Raffle Hugh Laurie Tickets to Benefit Crisis Center Food DriveJuly 20, 2012The Englert Theatre will partner with the Crisis Center of Johnson County in its Thanksgiving in July Community-Wide Food Drive by giving away a pair of tickets to an upcoming, sold-out performance by actor and musician Hugh Laurie, who will be performing at the Englert on August 17. For each non-perishable food or personal care item donated between July 20 and August 14, participants will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win a pair of prime seats at the performance. Donations can be dropped off at the Englert Box Office noon-6pm or during any performance, beginning with Paula Poundstone on July 20. The winner will be announced on August 15.

His real-life co-star Sarah Pfisterer (Phantom of the Opera, Show Boat, Children and Art) is his reluctant protege Eliza Doolittle.
