CSI: The Experience at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino has announced its involvement in the 29thAnnual Las Vegas PRIDE celebration. As a violet sponsor of the event, CSI: The Experience will walk in the PRIDE Night Parade on Sept. 7 and be represented at the PRIDE Festival on Sept. 8.

Previously scheduled at the Panasonic Theatre, The Music Gallery - Toronto's Centre for Creative Music - provides an intimate and acoustically sound space for Bang on a Can All-Stars to perform their groundbreaking arrangement of Brian Eno's classic ambient record, Music for Airports, with film by Frank Scheffer and Contact performing their arrangement of Eno's Discreet Music, with film by New York artist Suzanne Bocanegra.

To open its 20th Anniversary Season, The Orion Ensemble, Chicago's nationally recognized and critically acclaimed chamber music ensemble, presents "Orion Beginnings," featuring a trio and a quartet the ensemble performed during its early seasons, along with a quintet commissioned for its 10th anniversary. Performances take place October 10 at Roosevelt University's Ganz Memorial Hall in Chicago, October 14 at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church in Geneva and October 21 at Music Institute of Chicago's Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston. Stephen Boe joins Orion as violist for this program.

'9 to 5: The Musical," a musical comedy about three office workers who take revenge on their boss, begins a three-weekend run on the Playhouse Merced mainstage Friday, August 31 at 7:30 pm. "9 to 5: The Musical" marks the beginning of Playhouse Merced's nineteenth season in their downtown Merced location.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company will present Harper Lee's classic American novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" adapted by Christopher Sergel. This production is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company Artistic Associate Sara Clark and features Bruce Cromer, Darnell Pierre Benjamin and three young actors- Alyssa Mehnert, Jack Johnson & Noah Lentini.
