Jennifer Lim, Julyana Soelistyo and More Set for Signature Theatre's GOLDEN CHILDSeptember 18, 2012Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) has announced that tickets are now on sale and full casting is set for GOLDEN CHILD by David Henry Hwang and directed by Leigh Silverman. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. Guggenheim Museum Announces PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION Multimedia Performance, 9/27-28September 17, 2012The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum will present celebrated Russian pianist Mikhail Rudy in the New York premiere of a multimedia performance of Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition (Kartinki s vystavki, 1874) with animated projections of rarely seen drawings by Vasily Kandinsky on Thursday, September 27, and Friday, September 28, 2012, at 8 pm. Drawn from the archives of the Centre Pompidou, Paris, the watercolor sketches were made for Kandinsky's historic staging of the Mussorgsky piece in Dessau, Germany, in 1928. The Guggenheim performances are followed by a moderated discussion with Rudy about the origin of his project.
