America's Oldest Continuing Summer Chamber Music Festival, Music Mountain has released its end-of-season statistics and is happy to report a 7% attendance increase for its acclaimed string quartet concerts up from the previous year. The 83rd season saw the fourth consecutive year of increased attendance to its nationally recognized schedule featuring 16 world class chamber concerts. From 2009, Music Mountain's attendance has increased 14.6% and revenue has increased 25%.

Washington National Opera (WNO) presents American soprano Angela Meade in recital on Saturday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater. Accompanied by Bradley Moore on piano, Ms. Meade will perform a diverse selection of opera arias and lieder. In a special preview of her spring 2013 performances at WNO, the program will include Norma's famous aria "Casta Diva." This one-time-only performance is sold out.

THEN, ONE NIGHT is the first arts project residency for Chicago Lab, a new program under development at Jonny Stax Presents. These residencies are full-term engagements to support arts creators throughout the creation process of a new idea from inception to realization. Through this residency, lab mentors have supported Lacy Katherine Campbell's THEN, ONE NIGHT through strategic and business planning, documentation and evaluation, clarity and encouragement, and artistic feedback. Jonny Stax Presents also brokered space for rehearsal and presentation with their Lab partners at Teatro Luna, North Shore Baptist Church, and Stage 773.

Aurora Theatre Company founding Artistic Director Barbara Oliver returns to the company for its 21st season to direct WILDER TIMES, a collection of one-act plays by Thornton Wilder. Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and playwright, and former Berkeley resident, Thornton Wilder is best known for his full length play Our Town, but he was also an accomplished master of the short play form, specifically creating shorter works to be staged in spaces such as Aurora's, with the audience seated on three sides of the action or in the round.

The William & Eva Fox Foundation and Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, are pleased to announce the seventh round of Fox Foundation Resident Actor Fellowship recipients. The program is designed to support actors' professional and artistic development, to enrich relationships between actors and nonprofit theatres and to ensure continued professional commitment to live theatre. Funded by the Fox Foundation and administered by TCG, the fellowship is one of only a few programs of its kind for actors in the country.

Theatre Puget Sound (TPS) has announced R. Hamilton Wright as the 2012 recipient of the Gregory A. Falls Sustained Achievement Award. The committee of prior recipients has selected Mr. Wright, choosing to honor his dedication to the Seattle theatre community. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," has scheduled a post performance discussion with the production design team and cast of Brian Friel's Lovers, the first play of the company's 20th Anniversary Season, on Thursday, October 4th following the 7:30 p.m. performance. The designers will each share their thoughts on their concept for the show and how they collaborated with the director to bring his vision to the stage. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions of the design team and cast. The discussion will be moderated by Scott Alan Evans, Co-Artistic Director of TACT.
