A collection of essays selected and compiled by Grose, the book provides compelling first-hand perspectives from luminaries throughout the Guthrie's history and members of the Twin Cities community, spiced through with no-holds-barred opinion and curated by Grose's own affectionate and knowledgeable viewpoint on the Guthrie.

Adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from the book by Susan Hill, The Woman in Black is a story of haunting and the haunted. The reading will featuring Capital Stage co-founders Jonathan Rhys Williams and Peter Mohrmann reprising their roles from the 2002 pre-Capital Stage Company, Delta King Theatre production.

Ori Gersht makes videos and photographs on borders, thresholds, and transitions in time and place. In Dew (2001, 3 min., 17 sec.), dew on the artist's lens evaporates to reveal the landscape of the Negev Desert.

CHAPLIN, a new musical depicting the life of film icon Charlie Chaplin, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Christopher Curtis, opened on Broadway on Monday, September 10, 2012. Previews began Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Warren Carlyle (Finian's Rainbow; Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway) directs and choreographs the production.

On Thanksgiving night, Ovation will present an Ovation Original documentary special, A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS: OPENING NIGHT, which takes viewers behind- the-curtain for the Lythgoe Family's (American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance) quest to bring the entertaining and cheerful British "panto" musical theater tradition to American audiences for the first time. Ovation then kicks off its sixth annual programming event, "BATTLE OF THE NUTCRACKERS," featuring stunning Nutcracker productions and a chance for viewers to vote on their favorites.
