Manhattan Theatre Club has announced that the critically acclaimed revival of Henrik Ibsen's AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, is extending one week due to popular demand at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Tickets for the production are now on sale through Sunday, November 18.

Legendary Latin/jazz percussionist Jack 'Mr. Bongo' Costanzo has only performed twice in New York City in the last 60 years--once at Carnegie Hall in 1948 and once at the famed Basin Street East in 1961--but he'll make a rare NYC appearance October 30 at The Iridium to perform with cabaret favorite Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band featuring Ricky Ritzel. Premieres Artistic Director Paulette Haupt has announced that the company will present Inner Voices, an evening of three one-act solo musicals beginning Saturday, November 10 at 8pm, at 30th Street Theater, 259 West 30th Street. The opening is scheduled for Sunday, November 18 at 3pm.

Following its celebrated opening at Seattle Repertory Theatre, Pullman Porter Blues travels across the country to sweep D.C. audiences along for a ride in its world-premiere co-production at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Inspired by her grandfather's work on the postal trains, playwright Cheryl L. West, whose work at Arena Stage includes Jar the Floor and Play On!, returns with the tale of three Pullman train porters whose journey is underscored by Midwest blues songs, including "Sweet Home Chicago" and "This Train." Directed by Lisa Peterson (Arena's The Rainmaker and The Quality of Life), Pullman Porter Blues runs November 23, 2012 - January 6, 2013 in the Kreeger Theater.

Steven Spielberg took more than 10 years to research his film about Abraham Lincoln. He wanted to get it just right because he's always wanted to tell the story of America's 16th president. It's a story of leadership and healing, both relevant topics in today's world he tells Lesley Stahl in his first interview about the upcoming film, which he says is like no other he has ever done. The interview, which will contain the first clips from the film, "Lincoln," will be broadcast on 60 MINUTES Sunday, Oct. 21 (7:30-8:30 PM, ET/7:00-8:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Family-based production outfit Waterman Entertainment has secured the feature rights to the iconic comic strip character HEATHCLIFF, it was announced today by the company's Head of Development, Cooper Waterman. Waterman made the deal directly with rights holder, Peter Gallagher.

Mo Mandel regularly appears on the hit show Chelsea Lately and starred opposite Hank Azaria in an NBC sitcom last fall called Free Agents. Mandel has also made appearances on Modern Family, Happy Endings, Conan, Love Bites and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He has his own highly rated Comedy Central Presents Half Hour Special and has recently released his first CD, "The M Word," which he recorded Live at Comedy Works!

The Theater for the New City presents The New Stage Theatre Company's Garden of Delights, written by Fernando Arrabal and directed by Ildiko Nemeth (NY Innovative Theatre Award nominee), with original music by Jon Gilbert Leavitt (Outmusic Award winner). British conductor Daniel Harding returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall for the first time since 2004 to lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic in three performances, Friday, October 26, at 11 am, Saturday, October 27, at 8 pm, and Sunday, October 28, at 2 pm. The program opens with Korngold's Violin Concerto featuring one of today's most outstanding violinists, Renaud Capucon, who made a celebrated recording of the piece for Virgin Classics in 2009. The concert closes with Mahler's emotion-filled Fifth Symphony.
