Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival out-of-competition sections Spotlight, Park City at Midnight and New Frontier, as well as the installations and performances to be featured in the Festival's New Frontier venue. The Festival takes place January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

This illicit talent he possessed enabled him to become quite the "ladies' man" and to experience the illustrious lifestyles associated with portraying, falsely, a doctor, pilot, lawyer, and a number of other professions.

Due to popular demand, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s hit production of SUPERIOR DONUTS will add three final weeks of performances - extending through December 31, 2012 at The Royal George Cabaret Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St. in Chicago. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts and directed by Matt Miller, the critically acclaimed remount features nearly all of the original Mary-Arrchie cast members. A special New Year's Eve performance on Monday, December 31 at 8 pm will mark the show's final performance at The Royal George, where the remount enjoyed a two-month run, including two extensions.

Steinhardt is a paramount figure in classical music as the first violinist and founding member of the iconic Guarneri String Quartet. A collection of some of the most important pieces of George Harrison and Beatles memorabilia ever to be offered at auction will be included in Bonhams forthcoming Entertainment Memorabilia sale on 12th December 2012. The collection, which has never been available to the general public, was gifted by George Harrison to his brother Harry and other members of the family.

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Rocco Landesman announced today that Pratt Fine Arts Center is one of 832 non-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. Pratt Fine Arts Center is recommended for a $20,000 grant to support the Master Artist and Artist-in-Residence programs.

Redefining what it means to "work" in Lower Manhattan, 26 emerging artists and writers have been awarded studio residencies in LMCC's Workspace program, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) announced today. Each artist will be granted free studio space in minimally adapted, temporarily vacant office space donated by Goldman Sachs, Co in Lower Manhattan at One Liberty Plaza, and will have access to talks and seminars, public programs, access to a network of peers and new audiences, a financial stipend and other professional development opportunities.

Borrowing from Asolo Rep's mainstage theme of "The American Character," this season's Kaleidoscope artists investigate the art of storytelling with an emphasis on creating characters. Each performance begins with the opening line, "Once upon a time…," and a delightful storytelling journey takes flight.
