Sugarward, Sean Graney's new play about the governor of the British Leeward Islands circa 1706, will receive its world premiere January 5, 2013, at 7:30 pm at The Side Project. Sugarward will then run Thursday through Saturday nights at 7:30pm and Sundays at 3 p.m. through February 10.

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Rocco Landesman announced today that Sarasota Opera is one of 832 non-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. Jet City Improv presents its 10th annual New Year's Eve Spectacular on Monday, December 31st from 8:00pm to midnight.
