The Children's Playhouse of Maryland, Inc., in residence at CCBC Essex, performs Disney's "The Little Mermaid, Jr." for its 2012 holiday fare. The musical runs weekends at 1 p.m. today, Dec. 8 through Dec. 23 except the Dec. 15 performance is sold out with an additional performance 4 p.m., Dec. 16, in J-137, the J Building Lecture Hall, CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd.

Bay City Players will present the fascinating play that almost defies definition by moving smoothly between serious ideas and comic personalities, "And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little", by Paul Zindel on January 18-20 & 24-27, 2013 at the Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Professional Actress Dee Smith has confirmed that she is producing an AEA production of Stephen Adly Guirgis's play, THE LAST DAYS OFJUDAS ISCARIOT at The Victory Theatre in Burbank.
