Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse, an innovative multi-media and multi-disciplinary production created by Normand Latourelle, one of the co-founders of famed Cirque du Soleil, announces the addition of two more cities to its debut tour of Australia. Cavalia will open in Sydney on May 15, 2013, under its signature White Big Top, on The Showring at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park. In Melbourne, Cavalia will open on August 7, 2013, at The Docklands. American Repertory Ballet has announced upcoming events throughout New Jersey this Spring 2013. Based in Princeton, ARB has been consistently designated a "Major Arts Institution" by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for the past two decades, and, in 2008 and 2011, was voted Jersey Arts' People's Choice for Favorite Dance Company. Presenting innovative choreography to music by such greats as Stravinsky, Prokofiev, and Vivaldi, ARB's upcoming performance season promises to be inspiring.

Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre will present its second annual production of Thornton Wilder's holiday gem, "The Long Christmas Dinner." Two casts - one black and one white - play the same American family in a celebration of life that spans 90 years and three generations all within 45 minutes. Written before "Our Town," the play takes place at the Christmas dinner table and as the family marks births, deaths and the eternal truths of life, it provides a profound and poignant theater experience.

The Handel and Haydn Society has received gifts totaling $2 million to endow its chorus and educational outreach programs. A gift of $1 million from Jane and Wat Tyler will fund the Handel and Haydn Society Chorus, ensuring the continued artistic excellence of this signature professional ensemble. A second gift of $1 million from Karen Levy will support the Karen S. and George D. Levy Educational Outreach Program. These milestone gifts are the largest in the Society's 198-year history and come as the organization approaches its Bicentennial in 2015 and prepares for the early stages of a campaign to fund new strategic initiatives and endowment. Nick Gleysteen, Chairman of the Board, remarked, "Wat Tyler and Karen Levy have each given many years of service and support to Handel and Haydn. These remarkable gifts are a testament to their leadership, passion and dedication, and will help support the artistic and educational excellence of H&H for many years to come."
