Producer/Host Scott Siegel announced this morning that tonight's final Broadway Ballyhoo at Feinstein's at Loew's Regency will be expanded to include Tony Nominee Tonya Pinkins (Caroline or Change, Jelly's Last Jam), and two of the stars of the current hit revival of Working, Drama Desk Nominee Kenita Miller and Marie-France Arcilla. They will join an already glittering cast that includes film, TV, and stage star Laila Robins, Giuseppe Baisilio (Billy Elliot in Billy Elliot on Broadway), and William Michals (Emile de Beque in the Lincoln Center production of South Pacific).

Tribe of Fools is bringing back their popular Holiday Burlesque with this year's installment Naughty New Years. Tribe's new holiday tradition provides a holiday themed show for adults. Artistic Director Terry Brennan came up with the idea because "the majority of the holiday season is so geared towards kids that sometimes adults feel overwhelmed and left out. We wanted to provide one night of holiday fun that's just for adults."

The Stella Adler Studio's Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company is excited to announce the world premiere of a new adaptation of Anton Checkhov's classic drama The Seagull, brought to the stage by celebrated director John Gould Rubin with a new translation by Royston Coppenger. Gould Rubin directs a realistic, deconstructed and more accessible version of the play. His vision of the play is that the characters go on an "apocalyptic" emotional journey.

The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian will host 'Out of Many: A Multicultural Festival of Music, Dance and Story' from Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, through Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. The three-day program to commemorate the inauguration of President Barack Obama will feature daily performances of live music, dancing and storytelling in the museum from a variety of cultural traditions.

From February 15 to May 8, 2013, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum will present Gutai: Splendid Playground, a retrospective of the Gutai Art Association (1954-72), the radically inventive and influential Japanese artistic collective whose innovative and playful approaches to installation and performance yielded one of the most important international avant-garde movements to emerge after World War II. Based on fifteen years of research, Gutai: Splendid Playground provides a critical examination of both iconic and lesser-known examples of the collective's dynamic output over its two decade history and explores the full spectrum of Gutai's creative production: painting, performance, installation art, sound art, experimental film, kinetic art, light art, and environment art. Gutai: Splendid Playground is the first North American museum exhibition devoted to the Gutai group and offers a comprehensive interpretation of the convention-defying movement.

Illusion Theater's 8th Annual Lights Up! series presents the ensemble that brought the critically-acclaimed, Ivey Award-winning Ballad of the Pale Fisherman to stage last year. From February 8-March 2, 2013, Transatlantic Love Affair returns with an expanded version of RED RESURRECTED, a 2011 top-selling Fringe Festival show. This year, they tackle the themes inherent in the Red Riding Hood fable in a dark and surprising re-imagining. Adding elements from Persephone of Greek mythology and La Loba of Mexican folklore, Red Resurrected conjures up a completely new tale of a young woman's journey through love, pain and healing.

Administered by CTG's Literary Department, the Writers' Workshop consists of eight Los Angeles playwrights who meet once a month over nine months to share their work and assist one another in the creative process of developing a play.

Sundance Institute announced today 19 members of five juries awarding prizes at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Short Film Awards will be announced at a ceremony on January 22 at Park City's Jupiter Bowl, with feature film awards announced at a separate ceremony on January 26.

Two celebrated Pasadena-based theatres, A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, and The Theatre @ Boston Court, an award-winning theatre committed to inherently theatrical new works, received Mid-Size BEST (Building Excellence in Small Theatres) Awards from The Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation at the recent LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards. The awards, which vary in amounts between $10,000 and $25,000, provide general operating support to non-profit organizations with revenues between $850,000 and $3,000,000.

The multi-award-winning NoHo Arts Center Ensemble (NoHoAce) announces that the world premiere play, ONE NOVEMBER YANKEE, written and directed by Joshua Ravetch and starring two-time Emmy winner Loretta Swit and four-time Golden Globe nominee Harry Hamlin will be adapted into a feature film, written by Joshua Ravetch for Pam Williams Productions. The play, which is now extended thru Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the NoHo Arts Center, stars veteran actors Lorreta Swit and Harry Hamlin as siblings who discover the wreckage of a single engine plane crash years after the accident has occurred.

The National Tour of the award-winning musical Fiddler on the Roof will be at Broadway Palm from December 29 through February 16, 2013. The cast and crew began the tour in August 2012 and will continue traveling the United States through April 2013.
