Circle in the Square Theatre School will present THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, dramatized by le Clanche du Rand from the story by C.S. Lewis, presented by arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company, at Broadway's famed Circle in the Square Theatre (50th St., between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), at 10:30 a.m., March 18 - 22.

Vinnie Favale and Indie Global present staged readings of Hereafter (written by Vinnie Favale and Frankie Keane) on Monday, March 4th and Tuesday, March 5th in New York City. The industry-only staged readings are open by invitation only.

Stages Theatre Company (STC) presents "Owl Moon" a unique production featuring a story completely told through movement and dance. Based on the 1988 Caldecott Medal book by Jane Yolen, this world premiere production focuses on a mystical, magical winter wonderland where a father and child take a walk in the woods hoping to spot an owl and are surprised by what they find.

Dallas Theater Center Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty announced today the theater's 2013-2014 season, which will take place at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center. The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced November 28, 2012 that Trinity Repertory Company is one of 832 non-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. Trinity Rep was awarded a $25,000 grant to support the world premiere of award-winning playwright Jackie Sibblies Drury's Social Creatures in March/April 2013 as part of their 2012-2013 mainstage season.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's world premiere adaptation of A Doll's House, Henrik Ibsen's masterful exploration of society, money, gender roles and marriage. Translated and adapted by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and adapted and directed by Kirsten Brandt, A Doll's House will run March 23 - April 21, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 23 - March 27. The National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) will honor Hartford Stage and four other resident theatres celebrating their 50th anniversaries - Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Guthrie Theater, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Trinity Repertory Company - at the NCTF's annual Chairman's Awards Gala On Monday, April 29, at New York City's Pierre Hotel.

As the commissioning authority for the 55th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia in 2013, Joke Schauvliege, the Flemish Minister of the Environment, Nature and Culture, has announced that Ghent-based artist Berlinde De Bruyckere will represent Belgium at the 118-year old international event. In her comments about this commission, The Minister cited De Bruyckere's profound commitment to exploring universal issues of the human condition, as well as the relationship of her art to the great continuum of history. Over the past three decades, De Bruyckere has created a consistent body of work that is still evolving and has the power to transform her participation in the Biennale into a lasting international presence.

Chuck Singleton, general manager of New York's Rock & Roots public radio station WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org), announced today that Corny O'Connell will be WFUV's permanent morning show host. O'Connell, the station's longtime evening host, has been hosting mornings from 6-10 a.m. on an interim basis since last October. At the same time, Singleton announced that Carmel Holt, music director and air personality at WDST in Woodstock, NY, will take over the midday (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) shift, while Darren DeVivo moves to evenings (6-10 p.m.). Finally, Russ Borris has been promoted from Assistant Music Director to Music Director, a vacancy created when Rita Houston became program director.
