BROADWAY OR BUST Begins This September on PBS

It'?s non-stop drama when 60 of America?s top high school musical theater performers arrive in New York City this summer for an intensive week of ?theatrical boot camp? as they vie for a shot at stage stardom in a national theater competition. The annual event is the subject of the new three-part primetime series, BROADWAY OR BUST, airing Sundays this fall, beginning September 9, 2012 on PBS (check local listings).

This summer's first free Cox Music & Movies event will be held on Friday, June 22 in the Courtyard of the Holland Performing Arts Center. Music begins at 7:45 p.m. followed by the movie at dusk, or approximately 8:45 p.m.

Patrons will have the chance to meet Fritz in the Ohio Theatre lobby for photos and autographs. He'll also introduce both films-Dracula's Daughter (1936) and Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)-as they make their Series premiere.

Just added to the performer lineup are Harris Doran (The Actors' Fund's Hair), Claybourne Elder (Bonnie & Clyde), Gideon Glick (Spring Awakening), and Caren Lyn Tackett (Hair). Film star Samantha Mathis, who appeared in the movie version of Pump Up The Volume, will also make a special appearance at the concert.
