Celebrated actor and playwright, Andrew Rothkin, joins the cast as John F. Kennedy and independent film actor, Joseph Conway, will appear as Tyrone Power. Returning from the original cast are Gloria Jung, Eric Kuzmuth, Martha Ghio, Michael Curcio, Bob Cencioni, Danny McDermott and Holly Elizabeth O'Brien as Norma Jeane.

Poodle skirts and leather jackets are the height of style as Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre 2012 Summer Festival presents The Yardley Players in the rock n' roll musical, "Bye Bye Birdie." Performances are Fridays, July 13 and 20 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, July 14 and 21 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, July 15 and 22 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on July 13.

Cincinnati's Pomegranates will hit the road this summer to embark on a US tour in support of their new full-length studio album Heaven - out now on Modern Outsider. The trek kicks off with a hometown show at Bunbury Music Festival on July 15thwhere they will be playing alongside a number of notable artists including Death Cab for Cutie, Neon Trees and City and Colour. This marks the band's first tour in support of the new album.

The Palace Theatre will begin installing 489 new seats next week to replace the theater's smaller, aging seats. The new seats will have a classic aesthetic to match the historic theatre, but with modern materials and comfort for patrons. The wider seating will be configured to add 33 additional seats which will include adding an extra row in the front center of the theatre's Golden Circle Seating.
