Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for the Alley Theatre's production of Agatha Christie's Black Coffee, this year's ExxonMobil Summer Chills.

Celebrated actor and playwright, Andrew Rothkin, joins the cast as John F. Kennedy and independent film actor, Joseph Conway, will appear as Tyrone Power. Returning from the original cast are Gloria Jung, Eric Kuzmuth, Martha Ghio, Michael Curcio, Bob Cencioni, Danny McDermott and Holly Elizabeth O'Brien as Norma Jeane.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Seal's performance at the Fox Theatre on July 31 has been canceled. Ticket holders who purchased with a credit card will receive an automatic refund. Oradell's Bergen County Players (BCP) will kick off its 80th season (2012-2013) with Meredith Willson's classic musical, The Music Man. As part of BCP's ongoing commitment to community engagement, the production will feature school and community music ensembles at performances between the dates of September 6th through October 6th, 2012. This venture has been dubbed "The Music Man Band Project."

Poodle skirts and leather jackets are the height of style as Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre 2012 Summer Festival presents The Yardley Players in the rock n' roll musical, "Bye Bye Birdie." Performances are Fridays, July 13 and 20 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, July 14 and 21 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, July 15 and 22 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl 2012, Friday, June 22, at 8 pm, features two powerful female musical artists - Queen of Country Reba McEntire and Queen of Funk Chaka Khan - as they are inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame.

The 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival presents Central Avenue Breakdown, an American musical with music and lyrics by Kevin Ray, book by Kevin Ray and Andrea Lepcio, additional story by Suellen Vance, and directed by Christopher Windom. Cincinnati's Pomegranates will hit the road this summer to embark on a US tour in support of their new full-length studio album Heaven - out now on Modern Outsider. The trek kicks off with a hometown show at Bunbury Music Festival on July 15thwhere they will be playing alongside a number of notable artists including Death Cab for Cutie, Neon Trees and City and Colour. This marks the band's first tour in support of the new album.

Stages Theatre Company (STC) brings Dr. Seuss to life in Seussical-Theatre for Young Audiences Version (TYA) opening June 29 at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. This musical extravaganza is 75 minutes in length, and includes everyone's favorite characters: the Cat in the Hat, Horton, Mayzie La Bird, the Whos and Gertrude McFuzz who will teach an unforgettable lesson about loyalty and the power of community.

The Palace Theatre will begin installing 489 new seats next week to replace the theater's smaller, aging seats. The new seats will have a classic aesthetic to match the historic theatre, but with modern materials and comfort for patrons. The wider seating will be configured to add 33 additional seats which will include adding an extra row in the front center of the theatre's Golden Circle Seating.

Adelaide Festival Centre will welcome back the Little Big Shots International Film Festival for Kids, in the July school holidays, from 12 - 14 July in the Space Theatre.

Pantochino Productions Inc. has launched an on online fundraising campaign via Kickstarter to continue to bring original theatre for the entire family to New Haven. The company, led by Bert Bernardi and Jimmy Johansmeyer, is scheduled to launch it's second season in October.

NPR's "Cabinet of Wonders," a new series for public radio featuring the best of the acclaimed New York variety show which finds leading novelists, musicians and comedians each performing as part of a rare showcase of talent hosted by musician and author John Wesley Harding, is now airing nationally as a six episode radio program (WXPN Philadelphia and WFUV in New York are among the first to carry the show).
