SHREK the Musical opened Tuesday night in Toronto where it will play a two week run. BWW was on hand to capture photos from the opening night, which saw Torontonians happily going green and letting their freak flags wave!

Shrek the Musical just wrapped a successful week in Montreal, and heads into Toronto tomorrow night for a two week engagement at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. BWW sat down to talk with the Merritt David Janes, who plays Lord Farquaad, the 'vertically challenged villain' of the story.

The Toronto Symphony's Pops concert series continues this week with A Century of Broadway, a program that explores the last 100 years in Broadway music. Jeff Tyzik conducts Doug LaBreque and Christiane Noll in an evening that includes everything from operetta to Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
