Today, Rachel Ray gave members of her audience each a pair of tickets to Broadway's BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. As BroadwayWorld announced earlier this week, the production will conclude its run on Sunday, January 2nd, 2011. It will have played 120 performances.

The Chicago Tribune reports today that David Bertucci is in a 'medically induced coma' after being badly beaten outside of a Chicago nightclub. Bertucci's attacker is unknown and the family is offering a monetary reward for any information leading to his identification and arrest. The cause of the attack is also unknown.

The New York Times has announced that a rep for Katie Couric has confirmed that the CBS Evening News host will make an appearance on GLEE on the post-Superbowl episode. Deadline reports that 'Couric would play herself in a scene with Emmy winner Jane Lynch,' however no official details about the episode have been revealed.

In a feature out in the Washington Post today, musical legend Jerry Herman reveals that a Broadway revival of his classic, Hello, Dolly! is on the way. According to the report, 'A revival of 'Hello, Dolly!' will hit Broadway in the near future, says Herman, who plans to be the production's guiding spirit.'

Signature Theatre Company's production of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, began performances Tuesday, September 14. The first New York revival of Kushner's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play is directed by Michael Greif. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, has been extended a second time through February 20, 2011. Producers for TIME STANDS STILL, the hit play by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan announce stars Laura Linney, Brian d'Arcy James, Eric Bogosian, and Christina Ricci have extended their run at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). The current cast will now end their run at the Cort on Sunday, January 30.
