Olivier Award nominee Patina Miller and the cast of the new Broadway musical SISTER ACT were featured on ABC's 'The View' this morning February 9, 2011. Miller, who is reprising her critically acclaimed performance as Deloris Van Cartier, which she originated in the West End production of SISTER ACT, led the company in a performance of 'Raise Your Voice.'

As previously reported, Gwyneth Paltrow is set to return as McKinley High's favorite substitute on Fox's GLEE. Jane Lynch previously revealed to TV Guide: 'Gwyneth Paltrow is back. She's going to do a couple of episodes I think, and she's just the best. She's great, and she's here because she wants to dance and sing and put a good message out to the kids.'

HarperCollins announced today the acquisition of a currently untitled memoir by Barbara Cook, the noted actress, singer, and concert performer. Cook's collaborator will be New York Times theater critic Charles Isherwood. The world rights deal was negotiated by Jonathan Burnham, Senior Vice President and Publisher, Harper, and Rakesh Satyal, Senior Editor, Harper; Cook's manager, Jeff Berger at Jeff Berger Management; and Isherwood's agent, David Kuhn at Kuhn Projects. The book will be published in the fall of 2012, the year of Cook's eighty-fifth birthday.

Producers Philip Morgaman, Anne Caruso/Vincent Caruso, Frankie J. Grande, and James P. MacGilvray have announced that Robert Sean Leonard will star opposite Jim Belushi and Nina Arianda in the upcoming Broadway production of Born Yesterday, a comedy by Garson Kanin, directed by Doug Hughes, at Broadway's Cort Theatre, 138 West 48 Street. The opening night is set for Sunday, April 24.

The Actors Fund has announced that the previously scheduled benefit concert, THE LOWER DEPTHS - IN DEFENSE OF THE BARITONE VOICE featuring Marc Kudisch, has been cancelled. The concert was to play New World Stages on Monday, February 14th at 7:30pm for one night only.

The first publicity images for the new Broadway musical Baby It's You! have been released! Baby It's You! tells the inspiring story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry's first female powerhouse. BroadwayWorld has learned that the upcoming Broadway production of ARCADIA has delayed the start of performances by one day, now set to begin on February 26. The delay is due to more rehearsal time needed, given weather complications and delays in visa processing for the British cast members.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the Roundabout Theatre Company will produce a workshop of Yank!, a WWII musical. The York Theatre Company premiered the show last season and since its critically acclaimed reception, buzz has been swirling about a Broadway transfer as early as next season. Original Yank! cast member Bobby Steggert will be reprising his role in the upcoming workshop. New cast members include Santino Fontana, Morgan Spector, Michael Berresse, Nellie McKay, Jeff Hiller, Tally Sessions, Colt Prattes, Derrick Trumbly, Jeremy Cohen, Tyler Maynard, Cole Escola, Brad Bass, Cody Williams and Colin Bradbury.
