Theatre Journalist Giovanna Orive has written 1 articles for BroadwayWorld since 2001, covering Mexico theatre.
In my 24 year lifetime, one thing that has been permanent is my love for theatre. Mainly because the relationship between my father and my mother started in the stage of a musical in Mexico and also because I remember more of my childhood being in theatres and rehearsals than in my own home. My sisters and I knew more songs from Cats, A Chorus Line and Sweet Charity than lullabies or other pop artists. So we are naturally, kids raised by Bob Fosse, Liza Minelli and Barbara Streisand.....And yes I never leave home before making sure I have the Miss Saigon soundtrack in my car....
