An former adjunct professor at Indiana University's nonprofit management school, Emmalyn Helge is interested in many arts areas, but Broadway theater has always been a passion and guilty pleasure. Exploring new shows- modern and old, reading bios of Broadway stars and creative teams, and dissecting musical scores (and orchestrations) has always been a hobby. In Emmalyn's day-to-day life she is a professional violinist (who began playing at age 6), an arts administrator (working in arts nonprofits), and a music educator (teaching orchestra at the University Liggett School). Other loves include jazz and world music, photography, good food, and traveling.
