ABC Family's newest original series, 'Pretty Little Liars' launched as the net's No. 1 series debut ever in Adults 18-34 (837,000), Women 18-34 (657,000), Viewers 12-34 (1.7 million), Females 12-34 (1.5 million), Teens (904,000) and Female Teens (853,000). Moreover, 'Pretty Little Liars' stood as the net's second-most-watched series premiere on record in target 18-49 demos, behind only 'Secret Life's' debut (7/01/08): Adults 18-49 (1.1 million) and Women 18-49 (854,000).

Airing Game 3 of the 2010 NBA Finals (Celtics-Lakers), ABC won Tuesday night in Total Viewers (10.8 million) and across all key Adult demos: AD18-34 (4.5/15), AD18-49 (4.4/13) and AD25-54 (4.4/12). ABC outdelivered its nearest competition during primetime by 1.6 million viewers (10.8 million vs. 9.2 million - CBS) and by 13% in Adults 18-49 (4.4/13 vs. 3.9/11 - Fox), snapping Fox's 21-week young adult winning streak on the night. It was ABC's 3rd straight primetime win with coverage of the 2010 NBA Finals.

On the strength of back-to-back episodes of DEADLIEST CATCH on Tuesday, June 8, Discovery Channel was the #1 network in delivery among all cable networks during primetime, among P/M25-54 and P/M18-49 (no exclusions). Noted film and television actor Idris Elba has signed on as a guest star in four episodes of the new SHOWTIME dark comedy series THE BIG C, premiering August 16TH at 10:30p PT/ET. Elba will play 'Lenny,' a painter who forms a relationship with headliner Laura Linney. The 13-episode series is currently shooting in Stamford, Connecticut.

USA Network has given a cast-contingent green light to the pilot COMMON LAW, it was announced today by Jeff Wachtel, executive vice president, USA original programming & co-head, original content, Universal Cable Productions.

ABC's exclusive coverage of The Finals Game 3 - Los Angeles Lakers at Boston Celtics - delivered an 11.5 overnight rating, a 14 percent increase from 2009 (Lakers vs. Orlando, 10.1 overnight). Tuesday night's Game 3 broadcast was the highest-rated show of the night for all of television, helping ABC to win the night for all networks in primetime. The game peaked with a 14.7 rating from 11:30-11:45 p.m. ET.

Responsible for the unprecedented growth and rebrand success of the fastest growing women's network on the dial, Jason Klarman has been promoted to President, Oxygen Media, effective immediately. The announcement was made today by Lauren Zalaznick, President, NBC Universal Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks to whom Klarman will continue to report. With this promotion, Klarman will add oversight of Oxygen's original programming and development teams to his responsibilities.
