Lily of the Conservative Ladies, written in 1963, is a newly discovered play by Michael Locascio, who wrote the first original play performed at LaMama. It was discovered by director Mari Gorman as she was hunting for plays for her newly formed company, Glass Beads Theatre Ensemble. The play is a 1950s Noir Suspense drama with comic overtones about a murder involving a young woman controlled by her past. Performances will be at the June Havoc Theatre.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl earned an 8.4 overnight rating on ESPN, according to Nielsen, the second-highest overnight rating for college football in ESPN history. NBC will introduce a new superhero this month with the premiere of the drama series 'The Cape,' and in anticipation of the show's two-hour premiere on Sunday, January 9 (9-11 p.m. ET), NBC will partner with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation for a unique campaign to highlight historic statues all over the city.

A year ago on this date ESPN announced the launch of an event-based only 3D network which would air nearly 100 events in its first year. Today the company announced at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show that ESPN 3D will now air content 24-hours a day. As of Feb. 14, 2011, the network will show replays of previously televised ESPN 3D events when the network is not showing a live event.
