The 2009 Drama Desk Award winner and 2010 Bistro Award winner Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words will perform shows on Monday, May 10, at 7:30pm, and Monday, June 7, at 7:30pm, at New York's Triad Theater, 158 West 72 Street.

Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities and Executive Producer James A. Blackman, III proudly present A Midsummer Night's Dream written by William Shakespeare and directed by Ovation Award winner Stephanie A. Coltrin. The show opens with previews May 26, 27, 28 and the Gala Press Opening night will be Friday, March 29 at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse. This is the final show in the 2009/2010 Season for the Playhouse.

Drawn from over thirty interviews conducted by Patricia Loughrey, Dear Harvey recounts the achievements and vision of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man elected to a major public office in the United States. The tribute play weaves together the voices of a drag queen, a State Senator, an international gay rights activist, a nineteen-year-old composer and others with the personal and political writings of Harvey Milk to paint a portrait of a leader, and a vision for equality.

Cape Rep will produce Terrence McNally's Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune in June and July Frankie and Johnny focuses on two lonely, middle-aged people whose first date ends with them tumbling into bed. Johnny is certain he has found his soul mate in Frankie. She, on the other hand, is far more cautious and disinclined to jump to conclusions. As the night unfolds, they slowly begin to reveal themselves to each other as they take tentative steps towards the possible start of a new relationship.

As previously reported, multiple Emmy Award winning icon Betty White will host NBC's Saturday Night Live on May 8. White will make her first appearance in Studio 8H. The episode will will feature Saturday Night Live alumni Rachel Dratch, Ana Gastever, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, and Maya Rudolkph. FELA! producer Jay-Z will be the musical guest. Telemundo, a leading producer of innovative and high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and around the world, and Antena 3, a leading Spanish broadcaster, signed an agreement for exclusive distribution rights in Spain of the telenovela "La Reina del Sur." Telemundo will produce and distribute the telenovela based on Arturo Perez-Reverte's critically acclaimed novel and Antena 3 will have exclusive distribution rights in Spain. Antena 3 is considering scheduling this mega-production as part of its primetime line-up.
