Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre in association with Michael James presents Sweet and Hot: The Songs of Harold Arlen at the intimate, 50-seat setting of No Exit Cafe, 6970 N. Glenwood (Rogers Park by Morse el stop on Red Line). Sweet and Hot is musical revue of Harold Arlen's famous, toe-tapping songs, including Over the Rainbow from the film The Wizard of Oz and voted the #1 song of the 20th century.

Today, Saturday 8th May, 2010, tickets go on sale for Andrew Lloyd Webber's much anticipated West End adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. There'll be no place like The London Palladium, the capital's home of the family musical, where the brand new show will premiere in early 2011, with tickets going on sale today for performances from 29th March 2011.

Actor Zack Weinstein will be appearing in next week's episode of hit television show GLEE. What makes the appearance stand out is that, unlike Kevin McHale - who plays GLEE's wheelchair-bound character 'Artie Abrams' - Weinstein faces disabilities on a daily basis. The actor became paralyzed during a canoeing trip in college. While he was left with only the use of most of his upper body, leaving him unable to use his hands or legs, Weinstein has fought to continue his dream of acting.

It's never a dull day in Manhattan, and as the drama escalates on 'The Real Housewives of New York City,' so do the ratings. This week's episode of 'The Real Housewives of New York City' scored the highest rated non-reunion episode of the entire series among all key demographics, according to Nielsen Media Research. The episode delivered 1.57 million adults 18-49 and 2.25 million total viewers, up 18 percent across the board versus the previous week and pacing to be the highest rated season for the series, averaging 1.27 million adults 18-49 and 1.87 million total viewers through ten episodes.

Starlight Theatre employees fanned out across the city yesterday to deliver 2010 Blue Star Award nominations to local high school theatre students and instructors. The good news of nominations in 20 Blue Star Award categories was delivered to high schools throughout the metropolitan area and outlying communities. On Thursday night, May 27, at Starlight, those nominees will find out whether they'll take home this year's top honors.
