Stageworks Theatre Presents STEEL MAGNOLIAS Benefit 6/4

The Latino International Theater Festival of New York, Inc. (LITF/NY) announced that the 4th Annual TeatroStageFest will take place June 17-30, 2010, featuring six acclaimed local and international productions, free outdoor performances, children/family events, play readings and multi-media and Clowning workshops. In a show of support, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-Winner Jimmy Smits (Dexter, NYPD Blue, Broadway's Anna in the Tropics and God of Carnage) is the featured Spokesperson of TeatroStageFest 2010's bilingual radio and television marketing campaigns.

Bristol Riverside Theatre announces the 2010-2011 AMERICA RISING series of readings of four new plays. Programs begin at 5PM with a light supper followed by the readings at 6PM. All readings take place at Bristol Riverside Theatre located at 120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, PA.

The Tony Award-winning acclaimed string band, The Red Clay Ramblers, will make a rare New York appearance at City Winery on Friday, June 25. Now in their 38th year, The Red Clay Ramblers are a North Carolina string band whose repertoire reflects their roots in old-time mountain music, as well as country, rock, New Orleans, bluegrass, gospel, and the American musical. The question many Performance Network supporters are asking these days is 'do I feel lucky?' As the American Theatre Wing gears up for its 64th Annual Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Ann Arbor's professional theatre announces its Tony viewing party, 'Bettin' on Broadway' which will take place on Sunday, June 13th, at 7pm at Performance Network Theater. The Tony Awards ceremony is a Black-Tie only event but Performance Network's party invites its guests to dress 'from slots to high roller' as they view the Tony awards while playing blackjack, poker and roulette in the Network's lobby and theatre spaces.

Dueting it for the Kids is a concert unlike anything heard previously in Sydney. This event will bring together the top Australian names of the recording and concert industry in a concert of duets - pairing many of today's greatest voices in an evening of music and song. This one off concert, in aid of The Australian Childrens' Music Foundation, is on Monday 9 August at Sydney's State Theatre.

Things are never exactly what they seem; as illuminated by NewGround Theatre Collective's production of Clandestine, a series of six short works about love, friendship, family, and the secrets that are all-too-often part and parcel of any relationship. Clandestine will begin performances on June 3rd at the Gene Frankel Theatre, located at 24 Bond Street, as part of the 2nd Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. Members of the press are invited to all performances.

Frist Fridays, the Frist Center's popular summer concert series, kicks off May 28, 2010, with musical guests The Dirt Drifters performing live in the Turner Courtyard. Now in its eighth year, the series takes place May through July from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the final Friday of each month. Patrons are invited to enjoy an evening of live music, light snacks and beverages as well as visit the diverse exhibitions on view in the Frist Center's galleries.
