Carli Freeman is a New York City-based writer. She has a background in business and served four years as a federal civil servant before pivoting to the nonprofit space. As a musical theatre writer, her shows have been performed at Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Carli holds an MBA from Champlain College, where her capstone project focused on the economics of new musical development. At Fordham University, she got a B.A. in Film & TV and wrote sitcom scripts for class credit.
