Cara is a writer, director & actress with nearly 20 years experience in the professional theater. Writing for the stage since 1999, blogger since 2006, screenwriter since 2012. Her first TV spec, "The Newsroom: Brothers in Arms", won 1st place in the Spec Scriptacular, and was a Quarterfinalist in the Final Draft Big Break contest. Cara holds a BFA from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts; she currently resides in Chicago with her husband, son, and two cats.
