Congratulations, America: You made it through the third and final Presidential debate. And, while we still have to suffer through 15 more days of this nightmarish election, the end is in sight. On last night's episode of SNL, Alec Baldwin (Trump) and Kate McKinnon (Secretary Clinton) went head to head in a cold open version of the debate, moderated by the episode's host for the evening, Tom Hanks, who took on the role of FOX News Anchor, Chris Wallace.

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) will host a special concert on November 4, featuring Alan Pierson, conductor of the acclaimed contemporary music group Alarm Will Sound, directing the SFCM New Music Ensemble in two politically charged works: Ted Hearne's Katrina Ballads and Frederic Rzewski's Coming Together. In a special appearance, activist and author Angela Davis will act as the narrator in Rzewski's Coming Together and facilitate a conversation at the end of the concert about the topics presented in the concert.

The long-awaited documentary about the making of Hamilton, and how the musical connects to the real-life Hamilton and his world, recently premiered at the 54th New York Film Festival. The KlangVerwaltung Orchestra has been recognized for its superlative technical skill, ability to interact like a chamber music ensemble, vibrant orchestral color, and lively stage presence. Under the direction of conductor Enoch zu Guttenberg, the orchestra has earned rave reviews, both for its live performances and numerous recordings. For its 20th anniversary season tour, the orchestra is joined by the heralded Chorgemeinschaft Neubeuern Chorus for performances in Canada and the USA. On Tuesday, October 25 at 8 p.m., they will perform in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. The other tour dates are: Montreal (Place des Arts, October 21), Toronto (Roy Thomson Hall, October 22), New York (Carnegie Hall, October 24) and completing the tour in Boston (Symphony Hall, October 26).
