Alejandro Rodríguez was born in Caracas, Venezuela on December 18th 1992. He has a degree in Journalism, and graduated from the Santa María University in 2014 with a full scholarship for his outstanding participation in the University Chorus. He started studying musical theatre almost at the same time in the Lily Álvarez Sierra Musical Theatre School and got a full scholarship there too. When he graduated, he started making planes to move out of the country to keep studying musical theatre. The country’s situation made it more complicated for him than he thought and took a lot of time and stress. In the end, he decided to leave by land all the way through Brazil, headed to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a journey that would change his life forever. The trip took him 20 days. During those days, he worked and encouraged himself to make his way to the city where his aspirations would start over.
It was on November 25th 2015 that he finally arrived to Buenos Aires. As he started looking for the most fitting place for him to keep studying musical theatre, he decided to write a blog about his journey to the called city of fury. In 2017, when he found himself settled, he got in the Timbre 4 Theatre School. Nowadays he’s going on the second year. He is also taking classical and contemporary Dance lessons in the National University of Arts. He planes to get in the Choreography Composition Career, with orientation in Musical Theatre. All of this, to become a musical theatre performer one day.
