Vienna State Opera House Reopens With MADAMA BUTTERFLY

The Vienna State Opera House has officially reopened with a production of Madama Butterfly.

There is one final show in this run, on September 16. The show will return in January 2021.

Madama Butterfly features music by Giacomo Puccini and text by Giuseppe Giacosa & Luigi Illica.

Masks must be worn at all times at the Vienna State Opera, except during the actual performance. Audience members and staff must remain at least one metre from one another at all times.
