Nexus Cabaret Announces The NEXUS GUITAR FIESTA, Runs November 13-14

THIS WEEKEND AT NEXUS CABARET: Nexus Guitar Fiesta Two nights of fiery guitar music! Friday 13 November and Saturday 14 November

With the Adelaide International Guitar Festival taking a break this year, Nexus Multicultural Arts has taken up the challenge and is excited to be hosting an alternative Nexus Guitar Fiesta over two hot, music-filled November nights.

GYPSY CRIMS
The Gypsy Crims, a Melbourne-based duo performing original, infectious Gypsy Flamenco music composed by guitarist Orlando and accompanied on the Cajon by Michael Kontachristos, will take to the Nexus Cabaret stage on Friday 13 November from 9pm.

THE INAUGURAL NEXUS GUITAR WORLD CUP 

On Saturday, 14 November at 9pm, The Inaugural Guitar World Cup will take place at Nexus Cabaret, with the best local Spanish and Brazilian guitarists going head-to-head in a spectacular musical grand finale. Five guitarists who featured in the 2007 Adelaide International Guitar Festival will return exclusively to Nexus Cabaret. Featuring Aloysius Leeson and Florian on the Spanish team, and The Caliente Guitar Trio (Mike Bevan, Alain Valodze and Dylan Woolcock) representing Brazil.

The Nexus Guitar Fiesta promises to be two nights full of fiery guitar music, and is a must for all music fans!
