MiG Ayesa to Headline the THRILLER LIVE Australian Tour

THRILLER LIVE, a spectacular concert production that celebrates the music of the world's greatest entertainer, Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five has played in London's West End since 2009, and last month entered the record books as the 20th longest running musical in West End history.

The Producers of THRILLER LIVE today announced that one of the leads from this record-breaking show, MiG Ayesa will return to Australia to headline the cast on their national tour.

MiG (note spelling is capital G) has a huge list of achievements as a stage and concert performer here in Australia and around the world. MiG finished third in the global hit TV show ROCKSTAR:INXS, and released his self-titled debut album, 'MiG', through Decca/Universal. He was an original cast member of HANDEL'S MESSIAH ROCKS: A JOYFUL NOISE and his latest album, MORE THAN EVER was released late 2011. MiG started his professional career in Australia playing 'Ritchie Valens' in BUDDY. He was then chosen to join the London cast including a Royal Variety Performance. He went on to star in many West End musicals including WE WILL ROCK YOU, RENT, and in THRILLER LIVE.

His Broadway credits include BURN THE FLOOR, and ROCK OF AGES. Back in Australia, he played in GREASE, CINDERELLA, and in WEST SIDE STORY, and toured Australia and Asia with THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER.

MiG starred as 'Joe King' in the AFI Award winning TV series THE FERALS and will soon appear as the co-host with Sophie Sumner on the new TV travel show, PHIL IT UP. His other TV credits include MISSION: TOP SECRET, HITS AND MEMORIES, THE MIDDAY SHOW, IMT, CAROLS IN THE DOMAIN, IT'S ABOUT TIME, CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT, PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS, VIDIOT, GOOD MORNING AUSTRALIA and HEY HEY IT'S SATURDAY.
