Kim Smith's MISFIT Comes to Slide, July 12
Slide presents Kim Smith in MISFIT, direct from the Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2012 and NYC, on Thursday, 12 July.
Award winning New York-based cabaret performer, Kim Smith, leads audiences through a dark and winding landscape of disfigured pop and glimmering period treasures in his latest assault on the small stage, “Misfit.”
Singing in German, French and English, Mr. Smith reinterprets works by Weimar-era composers, and modern-day artists alike, including Friedrich Hollaender, Björk, The Supremes, Kylie Minogue, Kurt Weill, and myriad glittering others in conjuring a contemporary vision of the decadence and decay of 1920’s Berlin.
Tickets - $70 dinner and show / $30 show only (Dinner at 7.00pm Show at 9.00pm)
