A NIGHT WITH FORD&SLY Set for The Butterfly Club
When you combine powerhouse vocalist SarahLouise Younger with flamboyant entertainer Brendy Ford, the result is a dream team of musical theatre pleasure.
Presented by The Butterfly Club, you are invited to the one-night-only intimate performance of "A Night with FORD & SLY" on the 14th May, 2016. During this one hour musical theatre variety show eleven (11) of Melbourne's finest performers will take to the stage showcasing vocal performances, comedy, dance, and drag.
Hosted by Younger and Ford (aka Judy Free) and featuring Stephanie Wood, Raelene Isbester, Marcelle Knapp, Leigh Jay Booth, Matthew Holt, pianist Jane Matheson, and many more, this theatrically uplifting line-up will leave you wanting more as each performer hits the microphone with their favourite ballad, comedic character piece, or up tempo rendition.
With years of talent between this dynamic duo, FORD&SLY are experienced performers, producers, and directors. Younger - a seasoned performer - has been on the professional musical theatre scene since the age of seven (7). Ford - known for his flamboyance and theatricality - recently performed in his second self-written Midsumma show "P.S. She Nurses". Both Younger and Ford performed in the 2015 Sydney Cabaret Festival to a sold-out audience.
Previous performances by this duo have raised donations and awareness for such foundations as The Victorian Aids Council, The Reach Foundation, and more. The event - "A Night with FORD&SLY" - is purely a fundraiser for the production company FORD&SLY, and its latest project written, produced, and directed by SarahLouise Younger, and due to debut on the Melbourne stage this September 2016.
