The 2nd Annual Ameripolitan Music Awards to Play Paramount 2/17
The 2nd Annual Ameripolitan Music Awards will be held Tuesday, February 17th, 8:00pm (Red Carpet from 6:00-7:30pm) at the historic Paramount Theatre, 713 Congress Avenue in downtown Austin, Texas. Nominees slated to perform at this year's ceremony include -- James Hand, The Derailers, Amber Digby, Paul Pigat, Jason D. Williams, Elana James, The Western Swing Authority, Jason Roberts with The Cactus Blossoms, and Sarah Gayle Meech. Additional performances include Dale Watson, Ray Benson, Rosie Flores, Earl Poole Ball, Redd Volkaert, and other special guests.
The Ameripolitan Music Awards acknowledges and celebrates Ameripolitan Artists whose music honors tradition, while demonstrating exceptional originality, creativity, and musicianship through classic country; Honky Tonk, Western Swing, Rockabilly and Outlaw.
The performance line-up is like a 'who's who of Ameripolitan music' including a special reunion performance by "Keeper of the Key" Award Recipient, The Legendary Texas Rockabilly Trio HIGH NOON after a multi-year absence.
Presenters include James White, Cindy Cashdollar, Dallas Wayne, Big Sandy, Rosie Flores, Ray Benson, Wayne Hancock, Dale Watson, Casper Rawls among others. Sirius XM Radios' Mojo Nixon and Elizabeth Cook will host.
